I think you're talking about HSV rather than HPV.

Testing at 12 days is useless as your immune system doesn't develop antibodies that quickly. It is normallt recommended that testing be done at a minimum of 12 weeks with 16 weeks being even better.

Statistically, your chances of getting infected with herpes from a single encounter with a female who is using suppression and is not having symptoms at the time is vanishingly small, but, of course, not zero.
