lol, the only spirit I saw when I was staying in the UK was a very grumpy scotsman. I was staying in an old farm house on the Isle of Skye, and this grumpy old man used to walk around the house mumbling and muttering every night. The owners told me that they always had trouble renting the property because the previous owner, now deceased, resented anyone staying in his house. The previous owner is the grumpy old spirit. It must of been particulary galling to have a colonial staying in his house. :)
