Exactly! My Mother's friend was working a 9 - 5 to job, and was introduced by a mutual friend to start her own stay at home business. It was by Herbalife to be an independent rep, nonetheless, she took the offer and starting selling herbs from her home. She earned a large number of customers within a short period of time and decided to try the herbs herself for her own conditions. She was diabetic, high blood pressure and took what herbalife had recommended. As soon as she started with the herbs she had such a reaction that she ended up in the hospital.

That is rather misleading since you did not specify what kind of reaction.  If someone has an allergic reaction to peanuts does this make eating peanuts quackery?  Does it mean that peanuts are bad for everyone?

Luckiliy the Docs saved her life and upon returning home she quit everything and continued with her allopathic treatment. Herbs are not for everyone, you folks are the + - percentage that exists statistically in a random sample study\poll. You do not represent the majority of folks who have tried herbs with no success.

Worldwide what is the percentage of people who have benefited from herbs as opposed to people who have had no benefit?  Please be specific and post the evidence to back up your claim.  This will tell us who is really the majority and who is the minority.

By the way, have you ever benefited nutritionally or otherwise from garlic?  Cayenne?  Parsley?  Cinnamon?  Rosemary?  Oregano?

There was a study conducted by the British Journal of Medicine (I will try to post it if possible) that said Echinacea was found not to be effective in treating or preventing the flu

I remember a study about echinacea and it was either colds or flu.  The study was designed to fail from the start and was debunked a long time ago.  They only gave the people a dose of about 300mg. That is like letting someone lick an aspirin once to treat a migraine.  It was a great example though of how the drug companies manipulate their studies to try and discredit herbs.

along with St. Johns Wort.

St. Johnswort is not used to treat the flu.  So if this was their claim then there is more proof of their manipulation.

Speaking of Saint Johnswort (SJW) though another great example was the study that claimed that SJW caused infertility.  When you actually read the study what they did was poured SJW extract DIRECTLY on to the semen, which killed or injured the sperm.  ROTFLMOA!!!!  Do they realize how stupid they are?!!!!  Do they realize how many substances if applied to semen will kill or injure the sperm?  Vitamin C and air for examples!!!  Maybe that is how they became so stupid.  The sperm used to create these fools was injured because their mothers and fathers were eating foods with vitamin C and breathing when they were conceived!

And speaking of vitamin C, in another example that was widely reported in the media another study claimed that vitamin C caused heart disease.  If you read the actual study what the study found was that the vitamin C was increasing the thickeness of the arterial wall.  Well duh!!!  That is what it is supposed to do to prevent problems such as aneurysm.  But again the pharmaceutical dunces twisted the study to scare people away from the supplement.

I think when a person gets sick the body needs rest and time to heal, and so what ends up happening is allot of people contribute the healing to a herb they had taken.

So if a person has leukemia they are going to get better by just lying around and resting?  And if they take herbs like pau d' arco and andrographis and get better despite not doing any other treatment they only got better by resting?  Are you serious?

By the way, since nearly every pharmaceutical drug on the market is either made directly from herbs, or based on their chemistry, at what point does the pharmaceutical company wave its magic wand to turn that worthless herb in to the miraculous pharmaceutical drug?
