I absolutely know what you are talking about. I have been battling TERRIBLE rashes since my Mirena removal 3 months ago. Some of the welts will be leaky, but hasn't been discolored. I tried LOTS of remedies, and the only thing that gave me any relief was to not wear my bra as much as possible (anything restrictive or that makes heat or sweat is BAD), shower 2-3 times a day and dry myself completely, then apply Clotrimazole. It is cheap and is sold over the counter primarily for athlete's foot, but it totally clears up rashes from yeast and it gives relief within MINUTES. Then I apply Summers Eve feminine powder wherever the rash is. It works fantastic to absorb moisture and it's safe and gentle. It also doesn't hurt to double up on some yogurt to get some probiotics in you, or even take some probiotics from a health food store.

I notice the rashes are more intense when ovulating or getting my period. Since it takes 2 weeks to clear the crap up, you can imagine I have about 1 week a month where I'm not itching like a dog with fleas. I HATE MIRENA!!!!!!!! You now some stupid man developed it and has used us all as guinea pigs for their little money making scam then claim it's so "rare" to have all these side affects.

It's a running joke between my husband and I that Mirena is to blame for everything.
Rash=Mirena
High gas prices=Mirena
Bad economy=Mirena
World hunger=Mirena
Weapons of Mass Destruction= no...it's freaking Mirena
LMAO!!!!!!! We have to keep some sense of humor so we don't go entirely ballistic!!
