Greetings of health, Lamby! :::insert typical "Uny Apology" for the delay here::: Cry

Hi Uny and everyone reading this. Cool I have read all the information you gave me.Good for you, that was a LOT of reading! Some things I have read several times. Yay! Thanks so much for spending your time on me. You're welcome - it's what I do...helping others to heal themselves so we all can "be fruitful & multiply" and change the world - one person at a time!

I have already started with the raw garlic much to the dismay of friends and family. Oh, well. I love garlic so that is not a problem. They'd rather smell garlic than help you in & out of a wheelchair or care for you with end-stage diabetes issues...they'll just have to deal with it :) I also stopped taking the Zocor WOOHOO!  Check THIS out...I was just doing a quick search to see if Zocor is fluoridated (many statin drugs are), and I found Zocor is not...BUT I also found that it's not recommended for folks that have diabetes or low thyroid function (or any thyroid abnormality)  :::sigh:::  --much to the dismay of my doctor. I told her that it is my decision and she seemed to respect that. You've "lucked out"...there are less & less physicians that will continue to treat a person if they don't "comply".  And frustratingly, that is soon will become MUCH more apparent...as physicians in hospitals (already) have to prescribe certain drugs/protocols for certain illnesses (and hospitals have to report this data to Medicare).  If the hospital has a certain % of physician/patient non-compliance, the hospital will ultimately lose it's funding from Medicare.  It matters not ONE iota what the patient wants (or what the doctor feels should be done/prescribed) - the doctors HAVE to do/prescribe it (and of course, if the patient is actually IN the horrorspital, they have very little choice about 'compliance').  I will have to find a doctor to put me on the Armour thyroid medicine. Although I don't like what I have read about Armour either.  How 'bout you start weaning off the Synthroid and just heal yourself instead?!  It's very possible that with the lack of Zocor you'll see some balancing and normalization real quicklike  ::::hopeful grin::::

So, which came first?  The thyroid issues (hypo or hyper originally)?  Or the diabetes/meds/Zocor and then the Synthroid?

Also, do me/you a favor - look through all these fluoridated drugs (click on each category of drug you know you've taken in the past, then each name to see all the various names), and see if any of them preceded your thyroid issues. Index of Fluorinated Pharmaceuticals

Fluoride plays MAJOR havoc with the thyroid (major!)

I will do the Dr. Christopher's cleanse and mucusless diet in a week when I know I will be able to stay home especially for the cleanse. Should I still take the IF #2 during this process?  Yes, it's advisable to ALWAYS take IF#2 (or some bentonite or charcoal) when doing any type of cleanse.  Those help to adsorb the toxins that will be released, so they won't stress the organs of neutralization & elimination. And since IF#2 has them both, helps your diarrhea AND cleanses your colon (and the psyllium helps regulate blood sugar), IF#2 is a definite "win win" for you :)

When you say "do the Dr. Christopher cleanse", which one do you mean?  There are a LOT of Dr. Christopher "cleanses".

Regarding my bariatric surgery, I did not have a gastric bypass. I had a gastric sleeve. This surgery reduced my stomach size but did not bypass my stomach. Oops, that was I typo/brain slip...I knew a 'sleeve' wasn't the same as a bypass & couldn't be reversed (duh me).  I use my stomach and everything else the same way I have in the past. There is no reversal of this procedure. I'm sorry to hear that :(  Let's hope that won't turn out to be too much of an obstacle along your healing pathway.

Regarding cayenne. Hmmmmmm. I know this is very beneficial for many things including my diabetes. My problem is that I have never been able to tolerate "hot or spicy" foods. I would like to build up that tolerance. I would welcome any suggestions on this subject. I guess just starting to add things that are "hot" to my foods little by little will help. I really want to get the cayenne from the storefront but will probably wait until I feel ready.  Willowley gave you GREAT information :)  I've added some info below.

You asked if I have ever had an insulin level test? To my knowledge, no. I imagine this shows how much insulin your pancreas actually makes?  Yes.  Here's why it's important: there are two different reasons (basically) for high blood sugar - 1) the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin.  2) the pancreas is creating plenty of insulin, but the insulin receptors are damaged/burned out (this is VERY common, but virtually NEVER addressed properly by allopathic medicine).  One of THE biggest culprits for burning out insulin receptors are the sugar-free sweetners/poisons .  They are 1) excitotoxins (MSG in all it's forms, is also an excitotoxin):

2) then there's just the common 'logic' regarding 'sugar free' anything: when we put ANYthing sweet on our tongue, our pancreas responds immediately, "Here comes SUGAR & NUTRIENTS!  I must make/release insulin & enzymes NOW!"  But no sugar and no nutrients ever enter the body...BUT the body is flooded with insulin.  Very generally, this process of constantly having insulin when it's NOT needed can burn out insulin receptors and cause major lows/dips in blood sugar.  (Grrrrrr, just how illogical and dangerous IS modern medicine?  They insist all diabetics are 'perfectly okay with anything & everything "sugar free"...but they do NOT give them insulin level tests to even see what they're really dealing with!) .  Oh yeah, and when we get that blood sugar dip/low from eating 'sugar free'...our body responds with...??? HUNGER! (Where's all that sugar & the nutrients you tricked me into believing was coming?!  I made/released the insulin already - but there's NOTHING to use it on?!  FEED ME! FEED ME!). Now our body NEEDS sugar & carbs to make up for all the insulin it made/released which lowered the blood sugar.  So we reach for something (anything) to bring our blood sugar back up to baseline...and that body/pancreas damaging roller coaster can go on all day/night - for weeks, months & years on end (and WE beat ourselves up and think we don't have any self control!).   Bottom line: you may have NEVER really had diabetes...you may have only been insulin resistant. And since coffee/stimulants artifically raise blood sugar (also resulting in the subsequent dip/drop in blood sugar) - if you ingested lots of coffee & diet sodas/other, it's very LIKELY that you had/have some level of insulin resistance.

I will be ordering the pancreas tincture soon. :)

One thing I did not mention is that I have Pernicious Anemia. I receive a Vitamin B-12 shot every 30 days.  That'll likely go away as you restore your body.

Regarding the type of reply I was looking for from you was just a reply. I know you are very busy and was I was just anticipating when you would get back to me. Again, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me and spending the time on addressing my problems. :)

Wow! Thanks Willow. Great Advice. I believe as you do that if you are going to do something, you might as well go all the way. That's what I did when I went vegan. I jumped in with both feet and never looked back!

However, I bought the cayenne powder from Uny not the tincture. Did I make a mistake? I was looking at the cost side of it as I was ordering other things as well. Does the powder have the same benefits as the tincture? Hopefully so. Jumpin' in with both feet is likely the best way to go...EXCEPT with Cayenne Powder! Here's my "Pepper Primer":

The powder (even if watered down) takes some time for your stomach (and the rest of your intestines) to get used to...taking a lot more than one is accustomed to (of the powder) can result in doubling over in cramps and having some serious "peristaltic action"....not to mention really harsh "ring sting" (you know, the exit burn that happens on the way out :::silly grin:::)

I assume you've been monitoring blood sugar levels - any changes worthy of note?

Get me a list of what all your eating/drinking and what cleansing/healing products you're now using - if you'd like me to 'review & advise' (of course).  'Glad to hear your good report (other post).  And be sure to let me know if you've any other questions or concerns :)

Healthiest of blessings -

Unyquity
