Some people cleanse with it for seven days every month and some do a 28 day run every six months or year. I'm not sure how people decide what is best for them. I took it daily for two years on my second run without taking break. I had no withdrawal symptoms when I stopped, either. Now I only take it every 2-3 months for about a week. I guess the answer to your question is "I don't know" you kind of have to figure it out for yourself.
