This sounds so far fetched that it is hard to believe. Not saying its not true, but, this is what I found when I googled "Quality of Health Care for Seniors in England.....this is the first of several responses under the article Chris posted. I like the part about John Adams....
"Around 6,000 patients in the UK have aortic valve replacements each year and the most commonly used bio-valves taken from animals or human donors, last for around ten years before they begin to fail again.
As around 80 per cent of patients having their first valve replacement are over the age of 70, doctors have not been too worried about the valve wearing out. But now as life expectancy increases and the fact that these patients tend to be extremely healthy apart from their heart valve problem, the patients are now requiring second valves."
There are more responses that call this senior death warrant thing a false chain letter....
I am American and have no idea with the truth is...but as I said before...this sounds so far fetched that it is hard to believe.<< Return to the standard message view
