Hi! I don't know exactly how much your insurance will cover, but from the research I've done recently I do know that the average surgeon's fee for rhinoplasty is between $3,800 to $5,000.00. Keep in mind though, that's just the SURGEON'S fee. You can count on being billed afterward by the anesthesiologist, hospital, operating room, ancillary services and for follow up visits to the doctor. You'll be looking at another $1,500 to $2,500.00 at least.
If I know one thing about insurance companies, it's that they will try to weasle out of paying for anything...especially if it "smells" of cosmetic surgery (pardon the pun!)
Now, it depends a lot on where you live, too. I mean, if you live in NYC, the surgeon's fee could be up to $10,000.00 if he has an office on the Upper West Side that he has to pay rent on. However, if you live in Virginia, you may find somebody to do it for less than $3,800.00 (probably not much less, though).
I just finished writing an ebook called, "The Truth About Cheap Plastic Surgery in the Dominican Republic". In it I tell how you can have any kind of plastic cosmetic surgery performed by fantastic surgeons for 50-70% less than in the US! If you are interested in reading about it, the link is below.
I wish you luck and courage in your endeavor!
Warm regards,
JoAnn Roselli
