Ohfor,
Twas a question I was asking myself, but I thank you for your input on the matter as it contains information which helps to expand the subject matter into other dimensions... and to learn from as well.
I was able to find what L.T. McFadden had to say on the house floor back in 1932. It contained a lot more sharper teeth than what the Traficant message carried with it, imo. http://www.afn.org/~govern/mcfadden_speech_1932.html
Congressman, Louis T. McFadden, brought formal charges against the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Bank system, The Comptroller of the Currency and the Secretary of United States Treasury for numerous criminal acts, including but not limited to, CONSPIRACY, FRAUD, UNLAWFUL CONVERSION, AND TREASON.
According to Wikipedia, on May 23, 1933 he introduced House Resolution No. 158, Articles of impeachment for the Secretary of the Treasury, two assistant Secretaries of the Treasury, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and the officers and directors of its twelve regional banks.
It is also mentioned that his comments were taken (by some) as being an attack against the secret Jewish control over the U.S. monetary system.
There were two attempts on McFadden's life, a failed shooting and an apparent poisoning that made him "violently ill" after attending a political banquet in Washington. He died in 1936 on a visit to New York City.
Somehow I am surprised that Ron Paul has not had a mysterious accident of some kind along the way here. Perhaps, the wide use of the internet has helped? Perhaps the nwo shadows are smug enough to feel that nothing can stop them at this stage of the game?
What motivates those to draw the line in the sand? Dunno, but its got to be something that gnaws at one's innards deeply enough and for long enough to say, "I'm not going to take this anymore!" Its got to be a question of realizing one's own self worth. One can only speculate that with the small amount of awakening that seems to occasionally occur now and again amongst rank and file congressional seat holders, there must be a similar mathematical ratio happening amongst those that are positioned nearer to the top of that shadowy all-seeing pyramid that are not in public view. For they are also at their very core - flesh and blood human beings with a life that eventually comes to its endpoint as well. The closer one comes to that endpoint, there is less of a future to plan for and more past to look back upon. And with that the question has to arise - What kind of legacy is one or will one leave behind?
One can wonder whether that ratio will ever increase enough to tip the balance back in the dimension where a more sane humanity is possible.
