I can appreciate you don't want to be told "No, don't Master-Cleanse during pregnancy" when it sounds like you have it in your mind to do it.

However, regardless of whether you want negative responses, mine is not targeted to you but is in consideration of your baby.

You will be not only cleansing your body but cleansing your baby. You'll be depriving your baby of essential nutrients at a critical time. Will you be giving your baby Master-Cleanse formula when he or she is born? Ridiculous? Then why would you do that to him now? You could already have put your baby at risk by the absence of folate at his formative stage. Do you know that could cause birth defects?

I'm not trying to be mean or scare you, but I think your post is a scary one that deserves comment. Quite frankly, people who use the Master-Cleanse recklessly is how the whole MC ritual gets a bad wrap! I think any use of master cleanse cleansing during pregnancy is reckless disregard for human life-- that of an unborn child. As you say... the baby is not a fetus!

I know this forum is designed to not be critical of others. That is not my intent. Sometimes, people like myself are just trying to be helpful to others who are innocently ignorant of facts. As far as you just looking for someone else who has tried MC during pregnancy... good luck with that. If someone has done that, I doubt she will admit it.
