Maybe someone here can help me. To help hypo symptoms, I've taken Lugols for probably about 8 months with no problems, and it's raised my body temperature to normal levels, notably reduced breast tenderness and stopped my feet from being cold at night. About two weeks ago, I did the blessed herbs Colon Cleanse and ended up juice fasting for 7-8 days.

During the fast I started developing serious insomnia. I ended up not going to bed at all for 48 hours (which I never do ... I need a lot of sleep to function). I thought this would pass after the fast, but it hasn't gotten better. More seriously, I just realized that my thyroid is huge and spongy on the right side of my neck. It is puffing out of my neck visibly. I'm having a slew of hyper symptoms including trembling, weakness and of course the insomnia.

Like I said, the Lugols was working very well for me until the fast, and my thyroid was not enlarged before. I'm going to back off for now, but is there anything I can do to help the hyper sympoms and encourage my thyroid to shrink back to normal? It's a little worrying.
