My daughter takes several different prescriptions and had already gained weight before beginning the spironolactone so I can't say if it has added to her weight or not. I hope not. I'm also sorry to hear that once you quit taking it, the hair and the Acne came back. I wish I knew more and could help more. I only know what she's experienced.
