sugar cravings are commonly a result of magnesium, chromium or manganese deficiency, and it also effects the liver function...for example a deficiency in magnesium (which is the most common) results in lead absorption, which i think the NAC also does as well, so maybe thats the reason. Deficencies in any of the three minerals can can cause Sugar cravings as blood Sugar levels become out of balance.
