That's what I'm afraid of Trap. California is already in trouble. They have been building ocean desalination plants. Now, they can't afford it. Issuing IOUs.

My sister, in Atlanta, says they are back to normal, somewhat. Remember that last year they only had several months before the Lake Hartwell reservoir emptied. Then they had rains finally.

I think things will change, at least temporarily, when El Nino returns. That will cause the jet stream to move further south across central TX. That should bring rains; but will also push hurricanes toward the east. Unfortunately this won't occur until October. Even this is unpredictable.

I really think a huge problem is that the population tends to coagulate. They center in large cities that cannot handle the infrastructure. Los Angeles, NYC, Atlanta, Houston, etc.

This is an unwelcome future.
