As a person with several root canals (all my front upper teeth, plus some molars) and periodontal problems, I find this a scary thought. I'm vegan, mostly raw organic food, sea greens, and superfoods and herbs, but the infection in my gums, the bleeding, and a positive PAP smear recently have me very worried.

Once you have the root canals, what option do you have? Removing the teeth completely and being toothless? I may seem shallow, but 43 seems a little young to be toothless or wearing a denture...
