Don't be afraid, that won't help besides. I think you've probably shown what will happen to lots of folk if they take excessive amounts for a long time --- the body makes a bunch of T4, T3, the pituitary quits sending its signal to the thyroid to make more of these. I'd give it a long rest, you probably have enough iodin in you to last a couple years. get a sixpack of mountain dew and have a party.
