Actually I started shaving at 13, but I'm a guy so its not that unusual (early bloomer).

I don't completely disagree with what you say - but here is one thing to consider. Who amongst us can say that they don't have any outside influence on their hormones? None of us can. Pollutants such as xenoestrogens are everywhere and are potent hormone disruptors. Several species of animals have been devestated by these chemicals, and even human sperm counts are rapidly falling.

Then there is the hormone-laden meat supply ...

And the water supply - we know that tap water is not filtered for pharmaceuticals for example (see my prozac in the tap-water post in the breaking health news forum).
