It's lipid coated, so you just have to dissolve the coat, and the body chews it up.
One of my sweeties was diagnosed with crohns when she was pregnant and upon learning this I naturally informed her about the glyceryl ester of lauric acid, a.k.a. monolaurin, a.k.a. lauricidin. Within a week her pain was gone, never to return. She was about to have some sort of fancy surgery to remove some of her gut as I recall but did the monolaurin thing in time and never had any surgery.
My guess is that if one did a search on a search engine for
monolaurin crohn's
that a bunch of links would pop up.
My favorite source is Prof. Kabara
http://www.lauricidin.com
He studied it for about 30 years.
One can get creative and use it synergistically with other materials with dramatically-beneficial effects. Being a natural product even found in human breast milk, it's naturally easy even on an infant's stomach. LOL, I just downed eight grams for the heck of it. Good luck in your learning.
