Amen brother! The way some treat their elderly patients would shock you too. I think some just rise to the level of expectation of their patients. I can tell you that my brief experience in the "health" field as a new nurse is so eye opening. A lot of nurses say I will get over my desire to save every resident or that I'll stop complaining about residents lack of fresh foods or better treatments. I don't think so!
