I've come to this forum to seek the help of those who are familiar with Candida as I feel I may have it. I would really appreciate some feedback on this. Below is my history:

I'm a 22 year old male with no pre-existing diseases (no autoimmune problems like AIDs, no cancer, no "diagnosable by allopathic medicine health problems").

Was given lots of anti-biotics as a kid for frequent ear infections and had constipation at a younger age due to poor diet. Digestion kind of resolved itself but I was an obese child. Today I'm of normal weight, slightly overweight but not by much.

Real problems started at 16-17. First nearsightedness (myopia) set in, and at the same time, I got jaw problems. Crackling sounds when I swallow, popping jaw, misallignment, etc. Dentist diagnosed a malocclusion but didn't want to do the expensive orthodontist surgery.

Time went on, and the crackling/popping noises (when I swallow) in my ear started to get worse. When I hit my 20's my health took a dive due to the college lifestyle of junk food and alcohol. I began experiencing the following:

Coughing all the time, burping, passing gas, gas everywhere in my abdomen, bloating, the need to clear throat after eating, lots of postnasal drip, extra salivation, murky bowel movements, thick coated white/yellow tongue, concentration problems, depression, constipation at times and diarrhea at times, newly developed environmental allergies (found on a test), bad breath, fatigue, a constant throat tickle, mood swings, tiredness, muscle twitches all over including arms, legs, groin, and even in my ears, sore and burning throat.

These symptoms were also coupled by really bad sleep habits, and a life full of tragedy and stress. Just recently as of a couple weeks ago, my ears started ringing and haven't stopped. I've been to the ENT who says my hearing is fine and measures the same as it did in 2007. I know I listened to loud earbuds at the gym 5 days prior (rare occurrence as I hadn't gone to the gym in months) but they weren't ringing until 4 days later, so I don't think it's noise damage since I also have no hearing loss. My ears "thump" occasionally which makes me wonder if this isn't TMJ causing the ear issue, but I also read Candida can cause and contribute to TMJ.

I've been examined by numerous doctors for the other symptoms, endocopies, pulmonary function tests, x-rays, MRI's, blood tests, you name it, I've probably had it tested, and nothing was found. My health was always found by allopathic medicine to be "perfect", with even the good sign of low (not too low) blood pressure, yet I continue to have these symptoms.

The ringing is high pitched and I believe possibly related to this TMJ with my jaw or even the candida. It came on when I was having a bit too much to drink (just like many of my other symptoms) which leads me to believe it's Candida. It's a faint high pitch sound that actually gets louder when background noise presents and is softer and almost completely gone in absolute silence (the opposite of tinnitus).

I've put myself on a Candida diet starting today. I've read up about it. From what I understand I'm allowed to eat meat, goat cheese, and certain vegetables. I've read up on Candida, done the symptom checker, read about how it works, how it effects you, etc. I just want to know from you guys if you think this sounds Candida-related.

I did the spit test some time last year and it looked positive for Candida. I also even had an allopathic ENT tell me I had "Candida thrush" even though most don't believe in systemic Candida. I was given Diflucan but it did nothing.

I've been taking probiotics, but they give me a ton of abdominal gas, I can hear it bubbling up. Is this a sign of Candida or a normal probiotic side effect?

I'm not a hypochondriac, this is just what I've been experiencing and I want these symptoms to stop. Before this got bad, I wouldn't even visit a doctor for a check up, now I'm in debt up to $6,000 for tests etc. even with insurance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My only drawback is I'm an unemployed college student atm so I really can't afford to buy anything expensive.

Thanks
