...welllllll, I've done some SERIOUS research on Kava (because it seemed to be the only thing that gave my mom ANY relief --for months-- after she was yanked off her Klonopin/benzodiazepine) - and I don't believe the reports about it being toxic to liver. (Of course, ANYTHING can be 'toxic' when used out of moderation or sensibility).

I've used both Kava Tincture & capsules from Herb Pharm personally (and of course the tincture that we make). For me, it's been very effective for inducing sleep (even in my 'caffeine days').

'Looks like what you've got is pretty powerful stuff - and I don't have any idea how it compares to what we've made and tried from Herb Pharm...but I'm going to know sometime soon, because I just ordered some so I could 'try & compare'. (Oh, the sacrifices I make to help people :::wink:::) The TASTE of Kava is totally indescribable (ylech).

As far as the IP goes, we need to get to the CAUSE of the insomnia (and I'm sure you want to, too...AND do more than just 'bandaid' the symptom). But I also know that it's VERY hard for the body to heal when sleep-deprived.

We also know that if we cover up the symptom for too long with ANY type of herb (no matter how safe or 'not safe' it is), we're never giving our body a chance to achieve it's NATURAL balance - hence there's a possibility the body can never actually heal what's wrong that's causing the insomnia/symptom.

Give it a try, see if it works, let me know how much you had to ingest (and how you made it - with the lecithin or not...btw, Mountain Rose has non Genetically-Modified-Organisms lecithin powder, and organic lecithin liquid) - I'll give it a test and run it past my 'doctor/healer' within, and we'll take it from there.

And of course you know, the goal is NOT "krunk", only sleep! (for those that don't know, 'drunk from Kava' = krunk)
