mmmm, been having many conversations along these lines lately. I'm of the belief that the skills in the sensing and perceiving of energy, the ability to work with said energies, and the awareness of changes in the energy fields around the globe are increasing at an expotential rate, with some people. I also believe that these skills are known to everyone, but they have been hijacked by organised religion, in order to control, and gain power over the people who practise these skills. Perceiving energy and working with energy somehow became 'the holy spirit, or god' and became the domain of priests and clergy. Or became the domain of psychics and astrologers. Others tuned out completely and became consumers of material goods and perveyers of all kinds of physical and material excesses. People were taught to follow the leader, instead of using their own abilities to discern, sense and perceive.

When these skills aren't practised and used they atrophy, and become forgotten.

In my own personal experience, these abilities are becoming increasingly strong, particularly in the last 6-8 months. I find myself in a constant state of energy perception. This is exciting, I am drawn to learning. I am drawn to surrounding myself with colours , shapes, people etc , that enhance that perception and the ability to use the energy I'm feeling all around me. I feel as if my third eye chakra is open and clear. I sense a change in the very fabric of the universe. Bring it on I say :)
