I completely understand the necessity of the military and of reliegous organizations to force upon their followers blind faith and trust. You adhere to this policy, that's your right. I for one choose using logic and facts as my policy, therefore we will always disagree.
I remember listening to Reagan describe how oppressed and awful the people of Russia were to their citizens. This was very benificial so that we could escalate the arms race. Then the Russians showed their people our cheese lines.
We talk about the minority groups that Saddam descriminates against. Are we even close to perfect? Let's ask the indians, Blacks,(have we already forgotten the LA riots? Do you still not think cops aren't beating up minorities just for fun) Gays or any other non-white minority group. What is our history like?
Wasn't it so big hearted of us to help out Iraq when they were fighting Iran? Now we say to protect the region, we must go in there and kick ass. How come the countrys that have the most to fear from Iraq, don't want us to attact Iraq? Iran of all countries want's us to butt out, and they have the most to benifit from a dead Saddam. Most of Saddam's enemies have said they will attack the U.S if we attack Iraq. Why do we insist on uniting other countries against us. I enjoyed the peace when Iraq and Iran were at war.
I saw on 60 minutes that North Korea is mean to their people. Here we go again, the news media is now baiting us that we have to go over there and kick ass for humanitarian purposes. Maybe not, there's no oil there.
