There certainly is a definable pattern in these posts . Readily definable. It's reflected in U.S. elections. Every four years, approximately 50% of the electorate becomes angry and disgruntled. The movers and shakers of that partcular disgruntled group spend the next four years attempting to undermine the elected party. The only undefinable portion of either group is the "socker mom," who swings between parties. You have the consevatives (right-wingers, nazis, bible thumpers, wealthy, red necks, goose steppers, right-to-lifers) which make-up 30 % of the electorate. We have the liberals (communists, traitors, socialists, baby killers, pagans, sinners, welfare queens, nigar lovers, peaceniks) which make-up 30% of the electorate. In neither case will the 30 percentile groups compromise their root-beliefs or vote out of their party. (Right or wrong!) As a result of this reality, both parties attempt to maintain tranquility within their base and devote their money and energies to the socker moms (Reagan Democrats.) I see all three groups involved in this forum. As a populist, it would be a waste of my communication talents to convert either a liberal or a conservative. I don't waste the time or the energy. Perhaps the soccer mom is worth a shot, but not many shots. I just state my opinion and keep an eye out for a response that is intellectually stimulating. I certainly choose not to be proselytized. America is being polarized to the extreme - I won't play the game.
