So Perhaps Your "outside" America sources are a little biased, just like CNN.
The world is spinning and so are your sources!
Oil, give me a break. What, we can't afford to buy it so we gotta go steal it. America has more oil than your sources let on. Enough for many generations. If we don't buy others oil then they can't produce much of an economy and we can't import or export goods with them. America keeps the economy of this world going.
If Saddam chooses to defy the UN and the USA and we sanction and embargo, as a result, it's Saddam's choice and his fault that the people starve. If cared about his people then he would comply. He would be compassionate to his people to just do what's right. His choice, his fault.
If I tell you not to take a certain road because there is a hidden drop off,and you ignore my warning, load up the car with your relatives and drive off he drop off, it's not my fault for warning you. No one to blame but YOU.
And no one to blame but Saddam for this war.
His people will die because of him. And those that live will be liberated because of America.
