I recently got orthotics and new shoes, that were recommended by my podiatrist. I wore them (new shoes with the orthotics) at first for about 2 weeks, but still found them uncomfortable. I then put my orthotics back in my old shoe and though I still hurt, it was more tolerable. I was told yesterday that I have to go back to the new shoe, that they hurt because my foot is not used to the new support it is now dealing with and it just takes times to adjust. So I have the new shoe with the orthotic in it now and now I am getting leg cramps. Is this normal when breaking in a high quality sports shoe? Thanks.
