3 days after taking coral calcium supplements for the first time I noticed my metabolism begin to shift into high gear. I noticed my muscles were twitching in various places - exactly the kind of twitching you experience when you are calorie deficient and your body has to break down the muscles for energy conversion. I am extremely hungry all the time, even after extra meals and 900 calorie protein shakes every day. This has gone on for the last two weeks, and at this point I am very concerned about the possibility that I may have triggered an existing tumor to go into rapid growth phase with the introduction of the calcium. I know there is current research on horse embryos that suggests a direct relationship between intracellular calcium and the rate of cell division....Anyway, I have scheduled an appointment with a doctor, so should know more soon. I would appreciate any input anyone might have. Thanks.
