Sorry to hear about your troubles. As hard as it can be to make decisions for oneself, it can be even harder to be responsible for another. If it were me, I would be contacting one of the Iodine docs ASAP until I found one that could help or give a referral. I was always under the impression that Iodine could interfere with lab readings for TSH, so I wonder if it's even an accurate reading.
