Has anyone tried leaving their lips alone for 6 weeks let the tissue build up and put neosporin to moisturize it? I'm on my 3rd week of letting the tissue build up. In the process of wound healing the proliferation stage is when collagen covers up the wound. Since the wound is the entire lip surface, it has to build up the tissue.
