Dry mouth alone (caused by the CPAP in your case) will cause enamel erosion because your saliva is not buffering the teeth as it should.

MI Paste is a very good product, according to my prevention-minded dentist who believes in remineralization. She is the type of dentist who has "saved" people from greedy dentists who propose unnecessary and sometimes damaging procedures. She evens sits on the disciplinary board in such cases. So, if she says that it's a good product, I trust her 100%. She is out to prevent dental problems, not cause them.

As far as questionable ingredients in the product, you have to do the risks-benefits analysis and decide whether preserving/improving your oral health matters.

I have to say, I've read some extreme opinions on CureZone about extracting teeth (in some cases all of them!) in order to avoid using certain materials. As someone who lost four teeth through dental trauma (hit by car) and suffered greatly from it, that is just plain ridiculous. You will cause even more problems that way: alveolar (jaw) bone loss, difficulty eating, self-consciousness, speech issues, etc.
