The PubMed site found at:

is one of my favorite sites. After I had a reaction to having a broken Amalgam filling removed and replaced (with a composite) I read all cites listed that resulted from the search for "mercury" There were about 27,000 at that time. I also went through all cites returned for the same search term in Toxline also accessible from that start page (it is in the column on the left side). At that time Toxline also listed about 27,000 cites.

These references by and large are from mainstream medicine. My opinion of much of what is called "Alternative Medicine" is just the result of the doctors that have done their own research instead of listening to the drug reps and Big Pharma.
