I don't know of a definative source. Since I know I have mercury and lead toxicity, candida and a mild form of PCOS, I belong to yahoogroups for all of these. You would be surprised how often people with PCOS will say, by the way, I also have candida and mercury fillings, etc. One of the women from the mercury list was going to start a PCOS list. It's just an association I made from being a long time lurker on the lists.
The best source for more information on metal toxicity, is the autism-mercury group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/
It is mainly for adults chelating children, but adults are welcome too. There are two others, with somewhat less traffic
Adult-metal chelation

Frequent-Dose Chelation

If you are interested in doing any chelation with DMSA, DMPS, ALA or EDTA, it is important that you join and read the first group. I am saying this from personal experience. I had a doctor chelate me without knowing it while I still had fillings in and became extremely ill. I'm still recovering from that. Please pay attention to the dosing schedule. Most others use too much dose given not frequently enough. ALA must be given every 3 hours, DMSA every 4 hours, and DMPS every 8 hours, yes, even at night. The idea is to keep a constant level of a very low dose of chelator to avoid the bad side effects of redistribution. They also talk about other methods like clay baths, sauna, etc.
Even if you don't have metal fillings, you could still have the toxicity if you ate enough fish, from vaccinations and your mother having metal fillings, vaccinations or RhoGam injections while she was pregant with you.
Hope this helps,
