Words fail me...........must be a "first".

you are so kind and thoughtful.

Just returned within the hour from the funeral: a two day 300 mile round trip, to learn on the way home that my father-in-law passed away at the age of 90 in his sleep during the night.

My wife is devastated.

We are doing a pretty good job at consoling one another.

If this is providence? it doesn't seem to be very well timed.

It is also said that deaths occur in cycles of "three".

Who else I wonder to share in this misery of loss?
