My mother had this on the side of her knee. A very good chiropractor said to sleep with a vinegar socked towel wrapped around the knee for two nights. It went away after two nights. Unbelievable, but it did work. Didn't come back either. This was 7 weeks ago. Wrap a dry twel over the vinegar soacked one too. Bed, room will stink, but it's worth it.
