I would not do it by the glass. Add a spoonful to a gallon of water then wait for it to settle out. Carefully pour the water from the gallon and drink that. When the water starts getting low add more water to the container and let it settle out again. Just keep repeating this. Each time you add more water a little portion of the minerals will be dissolved in to the water.
