Now that the digital transition has been completed, radio broadcasting seems to be a target for the "fairness doctrine" so that talk shows are forced to surrender part of their air time to any party that can provide an opposing viewpoint (such as government propaganda or corporate "public relations").

Yesterday, I heard continuous announcements on the radio about "radio freedom", but that announcement seems to have been removed from the air.

Since the announcement seems to have been "pulled", it would seem that political censorship is stronger now than ever before because our media has "copped out" or been "strongarmed".

The government has always claimed that the analog frequencies needed to be reserved for the emergency services (so why not radio also?). Digital frequencies for TELEVISION offer more flexibility for government computerized programming and surveillance of every electronic device in our homes (TV's are stationary, radios usually do not have a permanent location).

Internet Protocol TV can BEAM into other rooms and devices (example...scanning your day planner, etc.).

First, corporate government takes control of our televisions,...and now radio.
