Hver,
I have to disagree with you, liver flushing with olive oil and citric acid does work. I have extensive experience with liver disease unfortunately, 2 years ago I was diagnosed with liver hepatitis and liver cancer. I've done many things, but one of the main things that has helped has been liver flushing (I've done 35 of them now).
Let me start by pointing out that these are supposed to flush the gallbladder, which IS NOT the same thing as the liver.
Because some people (like you) scared me off liver flushing, I actually suffered 6 months of constant liver pain while using liver support herbs which did absolutely nothing. I never made any progress at all until I started liver flushing.
First of all liver support herbs are not going to work on the gallbladder unless you are using them as bitters. If you were having issues with the gallbladder then the herbs would not help, but the ingestion of the oil could help by preventing bile stagnation. Does this mean you passed stones? No. Would you feel better by preventing bile stagnation? Yes.
I won't dispute that your advice about taking a small amount of olive oil with every meal is good advice however. One of the ways to heal the liver is to make sure you have lots of raw fats, particularily 5-10 tablespoons of OO per day if possible.
The fats help the gallbladder by contracting it, which prevents bile stagnation. Again, the gallbladder is not the liver. These are two separate structures, which can have different reactions to the same substance.
Still, small amounts of OO every meal DOES NOT replace liver flushing.
Neither citric acid not olive oil flush the liver. Again the olive oil contacts the gallbladder to prevent bile stagnation that can contribute to stone formation. May I suggest you look at a anatomy and physiology book to see that these are two separate entities with totally different functions?
I know because I take OO at most meals, take liver tonics and support herbs, and still my liver needs to be flushed from time to time. If I don't flush for too long, I can feel my liver getting damaged, because unfortunately I have a very sensitive liver now.
Again, olive oil and lemon juice do not flush the liver. The olive oil stimulates gallbladder contractions preventing bile stagnation. But the gallbladder is not the liver. And liver support herbs do not work on the gallbladder, which is something completely different from the liver, unless being used as a bitter.
And it is very common for people to mistake liver pain for what are really gallbladder issues. This is why self diagnosis is such a problem. Especially when they don’t know the difference between the liver and the gallbladder.
Actually, why don’t you tell all of us why the “stones” people are passing float, unlike real gallstones, which sink? And how “stones” that are much larger than the bile ducts are capable of expanding even with magnesium are able to pass? You cannot pass a basketball through the eye of a needle.
OO and citric acid is not the only way to liver flush,
They don’t flush the liver.
but you can't say it hasn't worked because it already has for thousands of people, whether they were doing the Schulz flush or the
Proof that anyone has ever passed real stones? I have seen a lot of claims of stones being passed, but so far only one person took them to a lab for analysis. Even the lab confirmed that they were not gallstones. So how is forming pseudo-stones helping people?
I'm sorry it didn't work for you, but to generalize like that is just wrong. It's no wonder you were kicked off the Liver Flush Support Forum , it's a support forum, not a debate forum, read (and follow) the rules.
As they say, those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. The same rules apply to all boards, including this one. Did you read those rules? Are you following them?
I was kicked off the liver flush board because the moderator was afraid of looking foolish for believing in something proven not to work. Why do you think all my posts were removed, including those that had absolutely nothing to do with debate?
And what do you call support? If I told someone that chemotherapy caused cell death and cancer on a cancer support board is that support or debate? It is support because it is warning of a danger. What is not support is allowing someone to put themself in danger by suppressing information of known safety issues.
What is also support is supplying information of methods of liver flushing that have been proven to work. The forum is liver flush support, not liver flush only with olive oil and lemon juice that does not work and only produces pseudo-stones. Yet, when I posted about bitters and lecithin to prevent and dissolve gallstones the posts were removed even though they were on topic and not debate.
What really gets me is the censorship, especially when people’s health is being put at risk. People have lodged stones in their bile ducts in the past, and it can happen in the future. So what happens when someone has this happen because of reading this incorrect information, and they do not realize what it going on because the posts about the possible dangers have been removed. Do you have any clue how dangerous this condition is? If this does happen then the moderator should be held legally liable, and hope they are by the person if they survive or their family members. And as far as I am concerned people like you who still promote this despite all the evidence that it does not work should also be held responsible. You are aware of the dangers as well as you have been told. Yet you promote this as if it works and is perfectly safe. And when something goes wrong we all suffer with stricter regulations, banning of substances, poor publicity making us look like quacks……..
When I was banned I was so angry that I got really got close to leaving Curezone for good. I hate censorship more than anyone else you will ever likely meet. Especially when it comes to people’s health. Suppressing information on safer alternatives that actually work is hardly support.
It's ok to disagree, it's not ok to stuff your opinions down someones throat, especially when people have experiences to the contrary. Unless you also had liver hep and cancer, I'm going out on a limb here and will say that I have more practical experience than you do here.
So you had cancer once and an oncologist has helped thousands of people. So who has more practical experience? I am closer to that doctor than you are. That is why I know the difference between the gallbladder and the liver.
Second, parasites have been a problem for many people with Candida.
Again, have any proof? I think the whole parasite issue is really overblown as well. Parasite infections, especially worms, are not as common as we are being led to believe. That is unless you live down South, are eating raw meats or you are French kissing your dog.
One of the problems with Candida is that it's a "catch all" category when people don't know what's wrong with them.
I agree, and this is why people have to be careful with self diagnosis. They can easily confuse what is really wrong with them with something else, like mistaking liver pain for gallbladder problems.
Nothing wrong with doing a parasite cleanse, if they are parasite free it does nothing but a lot of the time, especially for Candida, it helps. Its recently helped a friend I know who suffers from MS and I find that amazing.
Actually a lot of the herbs to get rids of parasites have a toxicity or other adverse effects. Wormwood, black walnut, male fern, senna……. And you have to worry about interactions and is it safe for anyone.
Mercury is a huge problem for many people with Candida. I believe it's a major contributor to mine. Until I remove my mercury fillings, a small amount of Candida exist in my gut (to protect me from the mercury). I don't feel that Candida, I'm cured from it, but it's still there (according to iridology and live blood cell testing). In any case, mercury fillings are really bad for your health so I don't know why you'd even think about debating this.
I have never bought in to the mercury amalgams causing disease thing. Actually if anyone were to think about it reasonably it makes no sense. Let's start with why mercury is used. It helps to keep the metal liquid so it can be applied. Are your filings still liquid? Of course not. Why? because nearly all the mercury was removed when the fillings were put in. So a trace would have been left behind. But how long ago was that? Twenty, thirty, forty...... years ago? And you think there is still mercury in them after all these years? If metals were leaching out then why are the fillings still in? And why doesn't everyone with mercury fillings have these health problems? And why would most of any original mercury leached out still be in the body? Do you realize how many foods we consume that bind and remove heavy metals, including fruits, vegetables and seaweeds? Then there is the fact that mercury is low on the electromotive series of chemicals, which means it is easily displaced by many other elements such as calcium, potassium, sodium......
Both. I have been working with people and their diseases and disorders for a very, very long time
It's impossible to say why anyone has Candida, everyone has it for different reasons and often more than one factor, to generalize the way you do is not helpful.
It is not generalization. Candida is a part of everyone’s body. The question is whether or not it is in a yeast or fungal form. And all I have pointed out is what terrains promote both forms.
If you want to discuss non-helpful generalizations why don’t we discuss the generalization that the sterol-cholesterol complexes formed from the olive oil citric acid must be real gallstones just because the oil contracts the gallbladder making some people feel better. Not only non-helpful, but a dangerous generalization as well.
I don't always agree with everything that is said on this board, but I try to stay openminded and if something works for someone, especially long term, that's good enough for me.
