 personally i don't agree with moreless on the lemon juice thing , i don't think it becomes alkaline in the body but rather it leeches alkaline minerals to counteract it's strong acidity.

maybe try more bitter foods.have you heard of 'swedish bitters' ?

Yes, but I prefer Grape Bitters. Swedish Bitters contain some harsh laxatives and camphor. Grape Bitters do not have either, and they are a lot cheaper. About $6 for a 2 ounce bottle.
