I am 24, 5'4, 165lbs. I have PCOS too and have found something that has worked wonders for me. I was getting really bad hair on my neck, chest, breasts, almost everywhere a guy gets it and women don't. I was gettig so depressed I couldn't stand it. I tried Metformin (glucaphage) and didn't see much change in hair growth, or weight loss. I did get my period after a while and it lasted about 4 months straight. I spent so much money on tampons and pads (totally sucked). Anyways, I quit that and now am using a Birth Control Pill called Yasmin. I've been on it for about 7 months. It has made my hair on my body disapear, get monthly periods (3-4 days duration), lost a little weight but not much. The reason for the weight thing is probably because I haven't started an exercize program. I need to get more active. Anyways, Try Yasmin, it works great.
