Bentonite clay or activated charcoal CAUSING gas or bloating?

Au contraire!

Bentonite & charcoal both "sponge up" AND adsorb 'gas' and the toxins that CAUSE gas.

Now the psyllium husks & seeds in the IF#2 - those CAN cause gas. Normally the bentonite/activated charcoal (and peppermint!) in the formula will relieve/neutralize the possible gas/bloating from the psyllium (if indeed, it is really the cause at all). Neither Rocky or myself have ever experienced gas or bloating from IF#2.

Bottom line (no pun intended) - gas & bloating are caused by undigested, putrefying food & rotting fecal matter that is sitting around in 30 feet of convoluted tubing and not be eliminated 3-5x daily. It is also caused by mucoid plaque, especially if it is being disturbed (and/or burrowed into via parasites)... and of course, candida (which is caused by too much 'putrefying anything' in the intestinal tract). Or of course, by gas-forming foods (especially when not evacuated promptly).

Also, the formula for IF#2 contain "17 parts" of various herbs/substances. Only TWO of those 17 parts are bentonite. I strongly feel that to lessen the already minimal quantity of Bentonite (unless one is experiencing overrapid withdrawal from pharmaceutical drugs) is definitely contraindicated.

This formula was created & used by an natural healer that healed thousands of people of incurable diseases - safely & effectively. Bentonite clay is an important and effective part of the formula; without the action of the clay to 'stick onto' the 'intestinal tubing' (and adsorb the myriad of toxins/poisons) that are being released, the efficacy & healing benefits of the formula are SUBSTANTIALLY reduced.

>>>Why Do People Use Bentonite?
Detoxification

Constipation

Irritable bowel syndrome

Bloating and gas

A large double-blind, placebo-controlled study examined the use of Bentonite clay in people with irritable bowel syndrome. Bentonite appeared to work best for people with constipation-predominant IBS. People taking the bentonite clay experienced a significant improvement in abdominal discomfort and pain. Bentonite users also reported significantly better symptom reduction and treatment efficacy with bentonite. There were no significant adverse events reported.<<<
