Bloodroot certainly worked for me. It is not easy to take, however. It will make you feel sick and exhausted with each dose. When the sickness and exhaustion subside, time to increase the dose, all the way up to a tablespoon twice a day. I have been taking it for six years and I still can't take that much. If it makes you feel sick, that means it's working. If it doesn't make you feel sick, you don't have what it cures. I knew immediately that bloodroot was going to help me. If he is not taking Iodine, I highly recommend it. It helps me maintain the progress I made with the bloodroot. You have to periodically take a break. It was a two steps forward, one step back process, until I added Iodine to my protocol. Now I don't slip back when I stop taking bloodroot.
I would probably start with the Iodine, and see if it will work without bloodroot. He may not need bloodroot. Hopefully not, as it is not a gentle healer.
