i am looking for people who have fibrocystic breast disease who have been diagnosed by a doctor and who have not supplemented Iodine yet.
we have had good luck with FBD on the Iodine forum with supplementing lugols. i have an Iodine supplement that contains the same things as Lugols but in a different ratio of iodine to iodide.
anyone who is willing to participate in this experiment will receive SSKI 2% free from me to try. the "trial" will last up to 6 months. all i ask is that i receive regular updates as to the effect, if any, of the iodine supplementation. there will be no placebos or double blind studies.
this would be perfect for someone who is simply living with this condition and cannot afford to seek further help. with this short period of time, several other supplements may be helpful but will not be necessary. those things will be up to the volunteers to decide, though that information should be part of the ongoing reports.
anyone with this condition and not willing to experiment with it is highly encouraged to go to the Iodine Forum and find out about iodine supplementation for FBD. it really works with Lugols because we have so many successes with it.
this is total self experimentation. being under a doctors care is best, especially if something happens to positively effect the condition, it can be verified. it is also best that there are not other health issues at the time and no prescriptions being taken. i can make exceptions to this on an individual basis. the FBD can be mild or severe.
i would like to see about 6 people participate in this. participation is at my discretion. there are no guarantees of any outcome and i am not trying to treat any disease. but if you have FBD and would like to try to treat it yourself using proven minerals in a new unproven formulation, i would be happy to hear from you.
i believe that this is work which would otherwise never happen. there is no funding for studies using minerals alone to address health problems because there is no money to be made with it. iodine, like most nutritional supplement minerals, is cheap, particularly compared to standard medical practices today. all i will be doing is donating the iodine and requesting feedback.

thank you for considering this important work.
