I just started doing enemas. I did one on Friday and one just now. Both times I could only hold for about 1 minute. The worst thing was that both times I had a lot of cramping (bloating almost like period pain) and pain in my abdomen and now I feel nauseous and have a headache and I still feel pain in my abdomen even though I did the enema about 1 hour ago. I used distilled water only (which was at room temperature as I am not sure what is acceptable to use to heat up water - is a kitchen saucepan ok?) so maybe the water was too cold. Anyway, I want to do more enemas but the horrible bloating feeling and cramps have put me off. Is this normal?
