Thanks for the feedback. He has been tested negative for Diabetes and Thyroid (My sister has thyroid issues) He does not take any medications. I will check into the others.

Also, in regards to his activity, that is what is strange. He is a very active child. We live in the country and are outside all year round. He is always on the move, that is why we are surprised how much weight he gains. Even when inside, he does not sit still until he falls asleep. We know that there is always room to improve on a child's diet, so she is working on that. (He mostly drinks water and he does not get artificial sweeteners.) But his older brother eats the same things and is in the 50 percentile (I know all kids are different, but added just for perspective.)
