I agree with you and have been stating this for years...

Chemicals, including food chemicals like artificial sweeteners, and msg can cause these things as well...

I would guess that parents, conceiving a child with damaged endocrine glands from these chemicals could easily pass the condition onto the child from birth... additional foods with these chemicals after birth would further exacerbate the condition.
