Has anyone tried this new gel that is available for vaginitis. I am going to give it a try but I dont know what lactic acid is? Or Glycogen? So a bit worried over the ingredients since they can still be absorbed systemically. Is lactic acid the good bacteria?

Lactic acid is one of the acids formed by the flora that helps to kill or control pathogens.

Glycogen is stored in the liver and is converted in to glucose when blood sugar is low or if a higher glucose level is required, such as a stressful situation. Cortisol, released from the adrenal glands, stimulates its release and conversion to glucose.

Neither are harmful.
