I asked s.a.Wilsons who sells organic coffee for enemas if using a coffee maker is effective as adding coffee to boiling water. This was their answer to my question:

"The short answer to your question is no. While you will extract a
small amount from the coffee using a drip maker you will extract much
much more by boiling the coffee in a pot. It's a little more effort
but well worth it."

Although, it would be a lot more convenient to use a coffee maker, I plan to continue boiling the coffee.
