Those scales aren't accurate FYI. It has me saying I'm 3 % higher then I actually am ( I get hydrostatic tested).

I had to call up a few rec centers at local universities to sweet talk them to use it, and they give me a deal since I'm there sometimes monthly.

(And I have a fancy smancy scale that costs way too much )

3% difference is a lot for me. Thats about 4-5 lbs of fat.

These days I can pretty much guess what my bf% is since i know my body so well, but still it'd be nice to know officially.

its good as a tool to track progress ie if its going down.

but if you are more or less hydrated that will skew it as well as body temperature etc.

Because its basically just dissecting dense tissue and giving you a calculated reading.

Id love to get a Dex scan one of these days. Maybe I'll treat myself, as I'm curious to bone density especially with my right knee that has bad tracking.

They can be pricey though.
