even the obese can be starving to death on a fast.

Fat stores do not necessarily mean nutrient reserves, so my own concern does not revolve around your body fat that remains, but with your vital nutrients that actually do remain.

It is also a possibility that your supplements are not being adequately absorbed and where they may not be as comprehensive as they should be.
I would agree with trimnut2 post in this thread.

Sorry to be so harsh-sounding but it is only out of concern.
