I know that sleep problem. For years I just kept different hours than much of the world [after the kids were off on their own etc.] and enjoyed the quiet time till about 2 AM. But I I certainly don't recommend that now that I know adrenal fatigue was behind it. Taking valerian has never put me to sleep but it does help me stay asleep. This web site says valerian has tin, good for our adrenals, too.

I'm reminded as I write this that getting more natural and ultra violet light has often helped me recover when various health challenges wouldn't budge. I haven't done very well on that lately & will get with it. After all it is June!
